I play with light, form and space to find connection.

A little about me
I discovered photography using my sister’s Polaroid camera at 10 years old, watching the image emerge was magical and I started taking photos of everyone who walked in our door. Then I got my first SLR camera, to travel overseas at 17, which I still use today.
I taught myself printing in the high school darkroom and while living in London I studied at New Cross Arts and photographed all my friends and London life.
On returning to Australia I enrolled in a Diploma of Photography and then transferred to a BA in Contemporary Art at Griffith Uni. I explored and played with many mediums including digital, video and performance art, sculpture, installation and studio practice. Finishing the degree at Adelaide Fringe Festival showcasing my performance art final piece. These skills have been invaluable to my work and continue to influence how I see and work.
I have been working with Architects, Interior Designers and Bespoke Makers for over 20 years and photographing their craft is something I really enjoy. I just love good design and showcasing the work.
Closely connected with the art world I have photographed many performers, short films, promotional shots as well as making music videos, from concept to final edit.
I love to photograph spaces that tell a story and photographing people in their home environment, where they are most comfortable, on their favourite chair, or in their favourite part of the house or garden. Allowing one into your sanctuary starts the process with alot of trust and often the most beautiful moments are captured.
